Welcome to the Animal Welfare course!
"Dig a little deeper. Think of something that we've never thought of before" A. A. Milne

Animal Welfare course will introduce animal welfare in a complex way. We will explore definitions, legislation, and ethical considerations in detail. We will examine animal physiology, stress responses, and emotional processing, as well as modern techniques for assessing welfare. The course also delves into welfare challenges across various settings, including farms, laboratories, zoos, and wildlife, focusing on practices such as handling, breeding, transport, and slaughter/harvesting.
