The purpose of the course is to introduce students to fundamentals of
corporate finance, with special emphasis on financial decisions within
the firm. The course covers among others topics such as: Objective of
the firm; Time value of money; Financial statements and Ratio analysis;
Capital budgeting decisions; Financial forecasting; Portfolio theory;
etc. The course is organised in lectures and seminars with the emphasis
on the students work out of classes.
